Abstract

Bader Nabs Record, Miller Notches Walk-Off As Pirates Sweep Crusaders. Senior pitcher Ethan Bader won his record-breaking 30th game as a Pirate, while senior Clayton Miller provided 10th-inning heroics as Armstrong Atlantic State University swept a regular season-ending doubleheader from visiting Belmont Abbey College on Sunday at Pirate Field. Armstrong took the first game, 13-2, then edged the Crusaders in game two, 4-3, in 10 innings.
