Abstract

Baseball Sweeps Young Harris In Pair Of One-Run Games On Saturday.

The Armstrong State University baseball squad used timely hitting to come up with a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader sweep of visiting Young Harris College on Saturday afternoon at Pirate Field. Mike Warren's two-out RBI single in the bottom of the 14th gave the Pirates an 8-7 win in game one, while Armstrong State held on for a 9-8 win in game two.
