Abstract

Eighth-Inning Heroics Lead No. 14 Baseball To PBC Sweep Of Montevallo. Senior Tyler Avera's RBI triple in the bottom of the eighth inning snapped a 6-6 tie and gave the No. 14-ranked Armstrong State University baseball team a 7-6 win and a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader sweep of visiting University of Montevallo on Friday afternoon at Pirate Field. Armstrong took game one, 10-5, with a five-run eighth inning.
