Assurance of Collaborative Learning in a Marketing Strategy Capstone Course: an Exploratory Study

Abstract
Accrediting bodies that are regional such as Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and international bodies like the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) are looking at teaching practices in an effort to improve educational effectiveness at the College level. This movement known as Assurance of Learning is launching in business schools everywhere. This paper explores the convergence of ETS Scores, and Assurance of Collaborative Learning Scores through the use of a global simulation. Convergence was found for Leadership, Collaboration and Teamwork, Financial Analysis, and Strategic analysis Planning with ETS Score indicating assurance of collaborative learning through a simulation on four out of eight measured dimensions.
