Abstract
- When Freedom, Georgia Southern University's eagle mascot, is out visiting fans or waiting to take flight at Paulsen Stadium, he’s usually wearing a black hood that covers his head and eyes.
- Steve Hein, founder and executive director of the Center for Wildlife Education at Georgia Southern, explains why the hood is so important to Freedom’s training, and surprises a few fans with a personal visit.
- Watch their reactions and learn more about our bald eagle mascot!
