Abstract

The small town of Portal, Georgia, is home to the Dr. Stewart Drugstore. The business thrived from 1907-1950. Without explanation, the store was closed and hasn't been touched since.

Georgia Southern history students volunteered their time to help preserve the building while Portal Heritage Society prepared the building for construction.
