Abstract

This major is for everybody who cares about the world we live in. Professionally, WGSS is a growing field, and any professional would do well with a major or a minor in WGSS. Interdisciplinary fields like WGSS are optimal because you learn to think critically and outside the box, you get a variety of viewpoints, you care about justice, and you understand deep and complex relationships between gender, race, sexuality, class, and nationality. These skills you get from a WGSS degree are integral for a successful career, leaving your mark on the world, and serving others.
