Heavy Metal Remediation using Hydrogels. The objective of the project was two-fold: 1) to investigate the interaction of the hydrogels with multi-valent metal cations (e.g. Cu2+, Ni2+, Fe3+ ) and 2) determine their efficiency of the metal remediation.
