Description of Lecture
Investigation into the medical properties of marijuana have led to the development of cannabinoids pharmaceuticals such as dronabinal, nabilone, and nabiximols. Studies have explored the possibilities of enhanced effectivness of smoked marijana vs. pharmaceuticals. This lecture will review the literature regarding the medical use of marijana, both inhaled and the cannabinoid pharmaceuticals (with emphisis on indication relevent to oncology), as well as adverse effects of marijana use.
