Academic/ Professional Development - Research
Abstract
Intellectual curiosity is a nebulous term that has no standard definition. It is often defined as the desire and drive to learn. The question this research will evaluate is if students will be driven to seek out the correct information on a subsequent exam after choosing an incorrect answer on an earlier exam. The results of this ongoing research study will assist educators to identify and apply new teaching strategies to encourage and enhance intellectual curiosity. This research has applications to all educators as intellectual curiosity is applicable to all forms of teaching and learning.
