Goldilocks Training: Selecting a Personalization Technique that is Just Right
Conference Tracks
Online Learning – Research
Abstract
This session will review findings from a five-part survey measuring value of instructor-generated resources based on varying needs across five dimensions (text, image, audio, video and interactive web tools). Study results and discussion will reveal the creation of a flow chart made to pinpoint personalization techniques rated by learners as most valuable to meeting their specific needs. Utilizing personalization techniques that are of most value may increase student understanding of course content, provide a stronger connection to the class and instructor, and create a more efficient online classroom for all.
