Abstract
Though elementary science and role play may seem an unlikely combination, pairing these two is an effective strategy that can be used as a student-centered approach to science instruction. Attendees at this session will participate in classroom-tested role-play activities to reinforce scientific concepts, including the function of Cholesterol in the Body, the Law of Conservation of Mass, Osmosis, Energy Transformations, and the Immune System's response to Viral Infections.
