Abstract
Technology is becoming a valuable resource to engage students. With the vast recourses available, instructors can be more effective in their disciplines. For my presentation, I plan to speak of how I employ technology in the face-to-face classroom as well as the online classroom. Just a few items I will include in my presentation would be: how to improve retention with technology, my usage of online grade book, useful aps for students and instructors, advantages of teaching with a pc versus a mac computers, and software to enhance teaching from d2l.
Brief Bio Note
My name is Darren Broome and teach Spanish and French at Gordon State College. My research interests range from foreign language pedagogy, contemporary Latin American Literature, novela de la dictadura, to the novela policíaca.
