Brief Session Description
The beauty and strength of children is often overshadowed by societal stereotypes and the deeply held biases of the professionals charged with their care and education. What are our biases? How do we identify them? Can we hold biases against our own people? How do biases impact our work with children? Participants will be introduced to the “IDEA” model and will begin the work of uprooting their own biases and planting new seeds of strength, love, and support for children.
