Full Session Description
Sand and Water tables are one of the typical learning centers in early childhood classrooms. Required by Head Start and GA Pre-K but frequently not used on a daily basis. Sometimes teachers think that a sand and water table is just too messy. Sand and water play is open-ended and teaches math skills, fine motor skills, as well as language and social skills. This session will reinforce the learning from sand and water table play and give numerous ideas of what you can put in your table both for inside and outside use and help your program meet the GA 3 start Quality Rated program standards.
