Presentation Description

The world is impacted every day by unethical behavior. The billions of dollars of lost asset value resulting from unethical leadership of companies like Enron, Lehman Brothers, and AIG, and the huge cost in trust in government by everyday people due to dis-honest and corrupt politicians and lobbyists, take a huge toll on our region, our country, and the world. Confucius said, "Wealth and honor are what every person desires. But if they have been obtained in violation of moral principles, they must not be kept”. Real leaders concentrate on doing the right thing, not just doing what benefits oneself or one’s organization. This program will focus on the three qualities of a leader that, taken together, allow that leader to “do the right thing”. It will also focus on the importance of individual values and organizational culture and its impact on ethical leadership, and vice versa.
