Adele Goerz was an immigrant just before the Civil War. She married and raised her family to be responsible citizens. She contributed to Savannah' s growth by working with real estate development. Her daughters worked in chari­table pursuits. Her spirit continues in, the form of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
