Join us for the Opening Keynote with Patt Gunn who will share her 25+ year journey as a Master Storyteller. Leave the session with some key takeaways that can be used when working with patients to better engage them and keep them an active partner in their own care.
About the Presenter:
Patt Gunn is a “daughter of the soul” of Savannah and a Gullah Geechee Master Storyteller who has been weaving stories about her cultural heritage journey for over 25 years. She is the CEO of Underground Tours of Savannah and the Founder and Artistic Director of The Saltwata Players, a local folk art performance group that produces dinner theater with Gullah Geechee talkin’ and freedom songs. She also presents Geechee Gurl Improvin’ and lectures at museums, universities, churches, organizations and corporate conventions. Her philosophy is simple: “The Sky Is Big Enuf’ For Unnah’Dem/All of Us!”
