Purpose

This policy establishes Georgia Southern’s comprehensive out-of-state educational policy to address state authorization, professional licensure, National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), and compliance with Department of Education 34 CFR 668.43 paragraph (a) 5 (v) and paragraph (c) on delivering academic content to and enrolling students physically residing in another state into licensure and certification programs. This policy also governs out-of-state learning activities' data collection, maintenance, and reporting requirements.
