Purpose

Alerts allow Georgia Southern University to provide comprehensive, coordinated, and differentiated support to students through a university-wide network of care that engages faculty, staff, and students in supporting student success. Alerts may be submitted by faculty, staff, and students through GS Connect to identify concerns, opportunities for support, or recognition related to a student’s success and well-being. Alerts are intended to be proactive and supportive rather than punitive, promoting timely intervention, connection to resources, and recognition of student achievement.
