Summary of Interview
Interview conducted by Katherine Conner at the 2016 POAG Conference in Savannah on August 21, 2016. Donald joined the Savannah Police Department in 1959 and served there for thirty-three years. Originally from South Carolina, he witnessed the impacts of the Civil Rights movement in Savannah. In this interview, Donald discusses racial and public relations in law enforcement.
