Interaction Design for Blockchain Applications

Poster 226

Blockchain applications use distributed ledger technology to accomplish various tasks in a distributed rather than centralized environment. With the rapid advent of blockchain applications, there is a need for efficient and smart User Interface (UI) designs. Improved interface design enables the fast adoption of blockchain-based applications and bridges the digital-divide gap. Blockchain is the foundation of Web3, which is the onset of data-centric architecture, including the design of user interfaces. The goal of this research is to classify the main blockchain-based applications into concise categories and identify important factors in userinterface design for such applications.
