Background

Ransomware is one of the world’s major malicious attacks. Hackers all over the country can use this to get exactly where they need to be when it comes to them encrypting specific data and very important information. Thus, why it is important to understand what Ransomware is and understanding how it works. In our testing, we used Kali Linux to both attack the Ubuntu and capture the network traffic through Ettercap and Wireshark.
