Background

  • Primary sources of CO2 emissions are Transportation (36%), Electricity (32%) and Industry (29%) [2].

  • Boudouard Reaction could be utilized to convert CO2 and biochar into useful chemical compound such as Carbon Monoxide (CO).

  • Water and carbonaceous materials were utilized to produce hydrogen gas through Water gas reaction.
