Abstract or Description
Alma and Primo form the new shared library system for the University System of Georgia! We hope you have gotten training provided by ExLibris, but why reinvent the wheel? Come to this preconference to discover what the Vanguards (first implementers in the USG) have discovered works for them as best practices in their acquisitions, cataloging, circulation, and interlibrary loan workflows. Technical Services (called Resource Management in Alma) and Access Services (called Fulfillment) are discussed by implementers at University of Georgia, Georgia Southern University, and Valdosta State University. Prior experience is not required. Learn from the Vanguards to avoid pitfalls and implement streamlined workflows from the start!
