This is two copies of the same letter from Lawless to a mayor in Charleston, South Carolina. This is a letter reflecting on history in order to gain recognition and support from South Carolina of what Ireland is enduring and a move in order to be free from Britain. This letter is in reply to John T. Grace's request to Publish Lawless' letter to Goolrick.
