About the Industry Expo

The Allen E. Paulson College of Engineering and Computing’s Industry Expo is the culminating event for the senior design/capstone project, an experiential learning opportunity for students in Computer Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, and all five engineering disciplines. You can find out more about our programs by clicking here.

The majority of projects have been sponsored by an Industry Partner and required significant work by student teams to complete. The Industry Expo allows for real-time interaction between individuals and groups. Students will give live presentations of their projects. Judges will attend and score the teams. The winning projects will be recognized during the awards ceremony.

Presenters for Industry Expo are encouraged to submit your presentation materials by e-mail to digitalcommons@georgiasouthern.edu and they will post within three business days.

E-mail Presentation Materials

Why Submit Your Presentation? More exposure for your work! Presentations are searchable through Google, and you will receive reports showing how many people have downloaded your presentation. You can also apply a Creative Commons License to your presentation, which controls how people can use your presentation materials.

What can you upload? PowerPoint Slides, papers, handouts, video, audio, and any other documents you used during your presentation.

Need Help? Email digitalcommons@georgiasouthern.edu for help on submitting proposals and presentations. If you have questions about the Industry Expo (ex. registration, sponsorships, judging, etc.), please contact Dr. Reinhold Gerbsch at rgerbsch@georgiasouthern.edu.
