Purpose
Georgia Southern University (University) recognizes the value of volunteers in furthering its vision, mission, and core values. This policy outlines the relationship between volunteers/non-paid affiliates and the University and establishes uniform procedures for screening and engaging volunteers/non-paid affiliates. It is meant to reduce risk and protect the interests of the University, its volunteers, and the community it serves.
