The Bones of Cordelia Lewis is a mystery novel set in 1995 that follows Margaret Lewis, who returns to her hometown of Larkin, GA after a missing persons case from the 1960s is reopened. The story is about generational trauma, internalized homophobia, and how womanhood is defined in rural communities.
