Description
The following research addresses the media in regards to media bias and framing when it comes to reporting the deaths of African Americans due to police brutality. The project will discuss examples of media bias when reporting on the issues at hand. The research gathered will be used to produce a code of ethics that directly addresses how the media should handle situations when they are reporting cases of police brutality. I will be drafting the code of ethics by theming answers together from interviews with subjects relating directly to the topic. The purpose of this research is to give journalists a code of ethics to go by in future situations where police brutality may occur.
