Abstract
Lockwood is a collection of linked short stories in the genre of fiction. Set in a small, Southern town of the same name, the stories focus on five people after a violent crime takes place against one of the town’s members. Addressing themes of race, class, gender, and small town mentality, the stories explore the modern Southern town and how past prejudices and conflicts still have an impact today.
