Abstract
The overall focus of this study is to describe the correlation between social media performance and financial profitability for businesses in the cruise industry. This study records and documents the social media performances of two organizations within the same industry segment and correlates their performances with financial profitability figures to determine if social media interactions are an indicator of financial success. This study uncovers trends in social media behaviors and ultimately determines that there is merit in analyzing, understanding and applying conclusions drawn from social media interactions.
