Abstract

This collection of six experimental short stories dips into the absurd and puts its characters in contact with famous writers: Among them, a boy befriends the ghost of Marcel Proust, two teenage girls crash a Truman Capote party, and a woman reflects on growing up alongside Albert Camus. Written in the historiographic metafictional tradition, these stories explore and reflect on what it means to be both a reader and a writer.
