The Herbarium at Georgia Southern University is the third largest herbarium collection in Georgia. The collection contains plant specimens from throughout the world, but has a regional focus on the Coastal Plain of Georgia. Complete holdings are searchable via the SERNEC data portal.
This collection preserves over 19,700 specimen images included in the SERNEC data portal. Images are searchable by species name, family name, and barcode number, and are downloadable in sets of 50 images. Each set includes a .csv file with SERNEC metadata for each image.
