Abstract
The article discusses autonomy-supportive teaching and its use in a physical education setting. Particular focus is given to the behaviors exhibited by autonomy-supportive teachers. Topics discussed include strategies for facilitating student motivation, appropriate practices in classroom management, and language recommendation for teachers. Also mentioned are the importance of explanatory rationales and acknowledging negative affect in a physical education class.
