Abstract
Dr. Howard Keeley is a native of Dublin Ireland. He holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from Princeton University. In 2004, Dr. Keeley became the director of the Center for Irish Studies at Georgia Southern University. His research emphases include Victorian and twentieth-century Irish literature and representations of material culture, especially domestic architecture and artifacts, in Irish literature. He also currently serves as the president for the American Conference for Irish Studies: Southern Chapter.
