Abstract
Traditional research relationships between universities and K12 institutions in the United States are typically driven exclusively by university personnel. Research Practice Partnerships (RPPs) are an innovative way to bridge the gap between scholars and K12 teachers and administrators by having representatives of two or more organizations work collaboratively to directly address problems of practice within K-12 district(s). In this presentation, we will outline our team’s efforts to provide additional STEM resources to two rural counties in West Georgia.
