Abstract
This session will examine the significance of adopting self-care practices within educational environments that strengthen holistic health and support individuals in making healthier choices. Multiple dimensions of wellness will be briefly explored to illustrate how the dimensions are interconnected and may influence both short-term and long-term health outcomes. Participants are provided with resources to assess personal wellness and practical strategies that may be incorporated by educators to develop a Self-Care Action Plan. The presenters will conclude with a discussion of how educators can utilize the information to cultivate classroom and campus environments that support optimal holistic health and wellness of faculty, students, and staff.
