Abstract
In my classroom, I am able to work with each student on an individual basis. The students are able to work at their own pace without any other student knowing what lessons they are on. The students have a prescribed way to go through each lesson. They also have a specific way to take notes for the class. They have to put the title of the lesson, then the objectives (essential questions), vocabulary and then notes from the lessons. At the end of each lesson they have about ten questions that they have to answer. They get a grade for each lesson. Which is great so they can see how they are understanding the material. One of the best parts of the class is when they do not understand something in the material, I can go over and help them with the material. They get their own personal lesson. This is a great bonus for the students, since in a regular classroom, a teacher just cannot stop teaching the class to make sure a student comprehends the information. The student would have to come back after school and talk with the teacher on an individual basis.
