PBIS and Multi-Tiered System of Supports: Finding the Connection
Presentation Abstract
This session will explore how the work of PBIS is currently embedded within our Georgia Multi-Tiered System of Supports. We will utilize the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) and the School Fidelity Tool (SFT) to highlight how fidelity is measured, and participants will notice how the two are more alike than different. Both tools elevate the importance of having a well defined system to measure the impact of a multi-tiered system of supports, however the SFT takes an integrated approach and attempts to measure the effectiveness of a multi-tiered system of supports through an integrated lens of academics, behavior, and wellbeing.
