Conference Program Description
Hear from Bibb, Hall and Houston County school districts on how they are increasing awareness of mental health issues among school-aged youth, providing training for school personnel and other adults on mental health issues in youth and how they are connecting school-aged youth with behavioral health issues and their families to needed services. GaDOE is partnering with these districts as part of the Project AWARE grant to assist them with developing the infrastructure to support all students and their wellness. This session will provide attendees with information on what is working well and lessons learned as they develop model programming on student wellness.
