Presentation Abstract
Building a high functioning team to create PBIS buy-in is a crucial component of successful implementation. PBIS is a school-wide initiative that requires buy-in from all stakeholders. A high-functioning team should include members that represent the student-body as a whole so that PBIS is evident is all areas of the school building. Successfully implementing PBIS goes beyond bringing leaders on board. We will share lessons learned about building school leaders for PBIS implementation, strategies and action steps for gaining schoolwide buy-in (staff, students, families) and ways to make PBIS stick!
