From the first steps of Tier 1 training to ensuring sustainability, it it vital for District Coordinators to provide support to schools. As District Coordinators build a sense of collegiality and trust across PBIS teams, more ideas are shared. This enhances the strength of PBIS across an entire district. Collaborating with District Coordinators from neighboring districts provides even greater opportunities to enhance the fidelity of implementation.
Many lessons were learned as the presenters grew in the role of District Coordinators. A number of these will be shared to reduce the learning curve for PBIS team members and fellow District Coordinators. Examples of these include information relevant to action plans, product notebooks, end of the year data submission, coaches meetings, training, and community involvement.
