His students stock the store by going to Costco and learning life skills by purchasing the inventory for the store. They also work the store which allows our exceptional students to interact with the general education population. Working the store also permits our students to work on their basic math skills by adding products and learning to make change. Our Exceptional Education students also act as the school “banker”. They count, sort, and deliver the Warbucks which is our PBIS Currency. Working with PBIS are part of their IEP Goals since they are acquiring life skills.
