Presentation Abstract
How do you have teachers, parents, and students "buy in" to the Response to Intervention process? Participants will learn best practices for using the RTI process for behavior. They will learn specific ways to organize, implement with fidelity, and utilize creative strategies in order to have increased positive outcomes. We will look at how to use the Functional Behavior Assessment and Behavior Intervention Plan to provide more effective interventions. We will also look at how to best collaborate with teachers, families and community resources to aid in this process. As always, this will come from a positive and research based approach.
