Presentation Abstract
Ongoing data collection is critical to ensuring great academic and behavioral outcomes for students with disabilities. Finding time to meet all of your students’ instructional and data collection needs can be difficult. You may be asking yourself, “How am I supposed to take data AND teach?” In this session, we will provide an overview of data collection methods and discuss how collecting and using data that inform instruction IS teaching. Participants will learn tips and tricks for incorporating data collection into instructional time in a variety of settings including home and school.
