Leslie Studdard:

I have been teaching for 9 years, starting out in 2nd grade and then Pre-K. I looped up with my students and I am currently a Kindergarten teacher. I enjoy working with technology and I currently serve as the Technology Teacher Leader. I enjoy learning and teaching anything that is beneficial to the education and growth of children.

Presentation Abstract

This presentation will provide an overview of how to gain the support of the school’s bus drivers in implementing the school-wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports program while students are in route to and from school. It will also provide information on how Middle Ridge’s PBIS team reviewed discipline data and problem solved to decrease the number of bus referrals. The professional learning that was implemented with Middle Ridge’s bus drivers during pre-planning as a means to include all state holders to reinforce school wide expectations during pre-planning will also be addressed. Participants will be provided information on key points that should be included in the delivery of PBIS training to drivers.
