Kaffir Boy, the best known of my books, won a Christopher Award for inspiring hope, has been published in more than a dozen languages, and is on the American Library Association's List of Outstanding Books for the College-Bound and Lifelong Learners. Kaffir Boy is being adapted into a feature film, which will be shot on location, and is scheduled for release in the fall of 2018.
