Scope of Collection
Records include the minutes, memorabilia, and membership files of Armstrong State University’s Sigma Theta Chapter of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society. Minutes span the period from April 1971 to May 1984. Two scrapbooks, highlighting the chapter’s activities from 1971 to 1990, contain memorabilia, such as news clippings, photographs, correspondence, invitations, and programs. Membership files include the Armstrong students and faculty who were members of the society during the 1999–2000 academic year, as well as Armstrong-affiliated members ca. 2002. A significant gap for which no files exist occurs between the years of 1991 and 1998.
