In the poignant discussion of the creation and killing of jobs, much is overlooked in the hyperbolic rhetoric that is so casually spewed about in our political environment. When thinking about job creation, one must investigate not only the demographics of our labor force, but also the incentive structure underpinning the employment decisions of our laborers. The career paths followed by our skilled labor shape the future of our economy and the health of its workers.
